Wireless Internet
Last modified 9/11/2024
Wireless access to "isunet", "isunet-StartHere", "isu-public", and "eduroam" is provided by access points distributed throughout campus.
Before You Begin
Wireless access is available throughout most of campus. Most public locations broadcast "isunet" "isunet-StartHere" and "eduroam." The "isu-public" wireless network is only available in Milner Library.
- isunet - Available throughout most of campus including residence hall living spaces
- isunet-StartHere - Available in all locations where "isunet" is available (except Milner Library)
- isu-public - Available in Milner Library (no user name or password required)
- eduroam - Available throughout most of campus including residence hall living spaces
Wireless Access Points
The following wireless access points are available on campus. Generally speaking, the closer you are to an access point, the stronger your wireless signal will be, but it is not necessary to be within a room that hosts a wireless access point to get a connection.
Partial or Full Wireless Coverage
Some locations below list specific rooms, floors, or other areas within a campus building. These spots indicate that the building has partial wireless coverage and that wireless is available in the designated areas. Other locations do not list specific parts of a building because the entire building has wireless coverage.
Info
You do not need to actually be in the rooms listed below to get a wireless connection. Room numbers are provided only so that you know where access points are located and so you can position yourself nearby.
