Another good rule of thumb is to include only one layer of subfolders within each folder you create. This will make it as easy as possible for others to find information, but it means you will have to so be very particular intentional about what how you title them. 

You are also free to choose a color for your folder if you would like, but avoid conveying info by color only. For example, don’t name the folder “Red” and nothing else. This makes your files inaccessible to color blind individuals and those who use screen readers because of other visual impairments. It also gives no indication of what documents are in the folder.
