Overview of the ULID Account Management Portal

You can change your password and modify your ULID account settings through ULID Account Management Portal, accessible via the Illinois State University ITHelp Customer Portal.

ULID Account Management

The ULID Account Management Portal, accessible through the ITHelp Customer Portal, is the official place to manage your ULID account settings and to change your password. You may log into ITHelp.IllinoisState.edu , and click on Manage your ULID to manage the following account features:

Preferred First Name

Your Preferred First Name is how your name is displayed in University systems and directories. Your Preferred First Name is your legal name by default, however, you may change your Preferred First Name to something else, if you like, in ULID Account Management. Password

Your password expires every 180 days. You may log in to ULID Account Management in order to change it. For more information on how to change your password please review the following article:

Security Questions

You may update the three security questions on your account, in ULID Account Management. The security questions allow you to reset your password via the Forgot My Password link located on the ITHelp Customer Portal (and other locations) in the event that you forget your password or have problems logging in. Third Party Email Address

Your third party email address is a non-ISU email account, such as a Yahoo or Gmail account, that IT Staff can use to help communicate with you in the event your ISU email account is experiencing problems. You may update your third party email address in ULID Account Management. For more information on how to update your third party email address please review the following article:

ISU Survey Participation

You can opt in or out of ISU Survey Participation in ULID Account Management. Opting in means that you will receive official Illinois State surveys via email. You can change this option at any time. Please review the following article for more information on opting out of surveys:

Electronic Signature

You can opt in or out of Illinois State University 's Electronic Signature Policy in ULID Account Management. Opting in allows you to sign documents electronically instead if using handwritten signatures. You can change this option at any time. Some of these account features are only available to full-time employees of the University. The options you see when you log in to Account Management are based on your affiliation with Illinois State.
